Gaza Relief Funds(Foodless, Homeless People).

Full-scale starvation is setting in for the Gaza Strip’s 2.2 million people. Even more catastrophic results will unfold should humanitarian assistance totally collapse in the southern parts of the Gaza Strip, as has happened in the north. A staggering 75% of the population has been displaced, some multiple times. Today 1.5 million people — children, adults, elderly, pregnant women, and the sick and injured — are currently crowded into Rafah. This area, which is the size of an airport, now has twice the population density of New York City.


UNRWA USA National Committee (UNRWA USA) seeks to honor its donors’ intent in supporting the delivery of essential humanitarian services for Palestine refugees. This includes food assistance, healthcare andmental health support, and emergency relief in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank (including East Jerusalem), Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria. 

UNRWA USA supports the ongoing investigations of UNRWA by the United Nations Office of Internal Oversight Services (OIOS) and the independent review group, as requested by the United Nations Secretary-General. UNRWA USA intends to resume financial support to UNRWA upon appropriate resolution of these investigations.

In the meantime, and in the face of the desperate needs of Palestinians in Gaza, UNRWA USA is actively exploring complementary delivery methods as necessary to respond to the evolving situation. UNRWA USA is grateful for the outpouring of moral and financial support from its more than 90,000 donors who enable it to perform this crucial work.
